Theorem Process Manager

Install TPM files

You will have been provided with a TPM installation CD. Please complete the following steps:

Run the “install.cmd” file found within the TPM CD folder. This will install the base TPM software. You can leave the “TPM_LICENSE_FILE” value blank as we have set an environment variable instead.

Navigate to "C:\theorem_tpm\INSTALL” and then run the file “install_manager.cmd" as an administrator. This opens the TPM Installation Manager.

Install TPM Master Server

In the TPM Installation Manager click on the “Master Server” button then on “Install”.

When faced with the Product Configuration page click next.

Once installation competes close it as prompted.

Install TPM Job Server

In the TPM Installation Manager click on the “Job Server” then “Install”.

When faced with the Product Configuration page you can leave “TS_INST” blank.

Setup and Start TPM Services

Open the Windows Services panel (type services in Windows Start Menu).

Verify the existence of the “TPM Job Service” and “TPM Master Service”. If these do not exist then you did not open the TPM Installation Manager as an administrator when you installed the services. In this case open TPM Installation Manager (as an admin) then remove and reinstall the master and job service.

Find the “TPM Master Service” service, right click it and open the properties dialog.

Set the Startup type to “Automatic”, start the service then click OK.

Find the “TPM Job Service” service, right click it and open the properties dialog.

Set the Startup type to “Automatic (Delayed Start)”.

When you run certain CAD Vendor software packages for the first time they prompt you to select a license or save files to your user profile. Please set the “Log On” user as a windows user for which you have already opened the CAD vendor software before and have confirmed that they operate correctly. If you do not use such software you may leave the service running as ‘Local System’.

Start the service TPM Job Service then click OK.
