Revit to Theorem-XR

Revit files can be uploaded within Revit by using the Theorem XR option, this will open a window where you can enter the server and login credentials to the server you want to upload to.

Once logged in you can see the available projects which you can select to upload the data to the chosen project folder. There is also the option to choose a configuration for optimisation which are pulled from the TVP logged in to (Default, High Performance or High Accuracy).

For Revit files with external references, we support:

oRVT

oIFC

oDWG

oNavisworks (with limitations) – the user will require access to Navisworks and our Navisworks to XR product as the file must be converted locally before being uploaded to the server.

oPoint cloud (with limitations) – only 1 million points can be extracted from the Revit API, the point cloud data must be converted to gco before upload so has to be done interactively. Further details in the attached.

There are an extra set of Revit specific options in the %TS_INST%\data\revit directory. The options are documented within this file.

There are currently limitations with external reference data that is located on the cloud.
