Measuring Menu

 

Measurements give an accurate representation of distance between parts of models.

They may be moved around by pressing them and dragging them around.

Usage

Point-to-Point

Measure the straight-line distance between two points.

Select the tool by pressing the toggle button.

 

Press and drag from the first point to the last point to create a measurement.

 

Offset

Allows the user to move the model in 3D space over any axis

Select the tool by pressing the toggle button.

 

Press and drag from the first point to the last point to create a measurement.

 

Delete

Delete selected dimension.

Select the tool by pressing the toggle button, then touch on an individual dimension to delete.

 

Delete All

Delete all dimensions.

To delete all measurements, press on 'Measurement Options' and then press 'Delete All Rulers'

 

Vertex Snap

Enables the snapping of dimensions to vertices.

To toggle on/off press the toggle slider.

Units

Toggle units between Metric (MM) and Imperial (IN).

To swap between units press on 'Measurement Options' and then press on the corresponding measurement toggle.
