Icon

Description

Usage

Transitioning

This option clips parts of the model so they aren't rendered until you are a specified distance from the model. This will improve performance.

Select the icon using the pointer and selection button to toggle on

 

Use your pointer and move left or right to set the distance of when full geometry is visible

 

Use the Outer slider to control the distance of when the bounding box of the geometry is show.

Activate meta data information on parts

Select the icon using the pointer and selection button

Click on a part in the model, a window will appear in the bottom right of the screen showing you meta data of the selected part

Selecting the X button closes the meta data window

To switch off Info, toggle off the thumbnail in the menu

Mic

Toggle on / off your devices microphone. When the microphone is off (muted) other participants in your session will not be able to hear you.

Select the icon using the pointer and selection button

Pointer

Laser pointer visible to all participants of the collaboration session

Select the icon using the pointer and selection button to enable a users pointer and make it visible to all other participants. Clicking this icon again will turn a users pointer off.

 

With the pointer and selection button enabled a passive user can point at the model and using the left mouse button apply pointer icons at any location on the model for other participants to see.

 

Spectate

Allows a passive user to spectate from another member of the collaboration sessions view

Select the icon using the pointer and selection button. On selection the spectate menu will be displayed

 

Select the user required from the drop down list shown and hit the play button to see their view:

 

 

Once active a "stop" button will appear, click the stop button to exit the chosen users view:
